Goerg & Schneider 480 is a white stoneware clay with 40% chamotte with a grain size of 0–2,0 mm. Fired at 1000–1260 °C.

Burning temperature: 1260°C.
Shrinkage during drying/firing: approx. 4% / 4,0% at 1240° C.
Suitable for: Clay that is suitable for sculpting and hand building can also be used for Raku firing.
