Goerg & Schneider 474 is a white-cream colored stoneware clay with 40% chamotte with a grain size of 0–1,0 mm. Fired at 1000–1260 °C.

Chamotte content: 40%, with grain size 0-1,0 mm
Burning temperature: 1260°C.
Shrinkage during drying/firing: approx. 5% / 5,0% at 1240° C.
Suitable for: Clay that is suitable for sculpting and hand building can also be used for Raku firing.
