Witgert 27 Black Stone is an Anthracite-Gray stoneware clay with black chamotte (25%) with a grain size of 0–0,2 mm. Fired at 1000–1250 °C. Also available with coarser chamotte.

• Type: Stoneware clay
• Burnt color: Grey-Anthracite with black chamotte that gives an effect.
• Chamotte content: 25%, with grain size 0-0,2 mm 
  
• Burning temperature: 1250°C.
  
• Shrinkage during drying/firing: approx. 5,4% / 4,4% at 1200° C.
• Suitable for: Clay suitable for turning, rolling and modeling.
