Witgert 31 Salt & Pepper (coarse) is a white stoneware clay with black chamotte (25%) with a grain size of 0–0,5 mm. Suitable for hand building. Fired at 1000–1250 °C.

• Burnt color: Effect clay – White with black chamotte.
• Chamotte content: 25%, with grain size 0-0,5 mm 
  
• Burning temperature: 1250°C.
  
• Shrinkage during drying/firing: about 5,8% /4,7% at 1200° C.
• Suitable for: Clay suitable for building, rolling or slicing.
